So I'd been wondering why I'd gotten a sudden influx of emails and messages wondering where one could purchase the Popin' Cookin' Sushi I'd posted about back in July of last year... which I mean isn't really ALL that weird considering it's some of the coolest candy in the world, but when my friend a deliberate pace forwarded me this video (below) on NY Mag it all started to make sense!
So for all you curious adventurous sweet tooth eaters... here's where you can find your very own Popin' Cookin' in Los Angeles! They have a few other kits as well which are equally as fun!
I just took this picture TODAY, so they're there. Go get em!

Howdy,
ReplyDeleteI was at nijiya off sawtelle last night looking for these (before i saw your post) and could not find any. I ran into this post today, along with the picture that you attached, so i went back to check the store. Still couldnt find it.
So either they were all sold out, or i must be blind. I looked for the surrounding products in the picture, but the setup for the placement of the other products arent even close to each other.
Was this picture taken from the nijiya off sawtelle or the one in downtown la, little tokyo?
Took it at the Nijiya on Sawtelle at 1:30PM yesterday! There was only 1 box of the sushi ones left when I was there, but there were plenty of the Pizza/Pasta one and the Panda Bento box.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole
ReplyDeleteI'll try stopping by the nijiya in DTLA since i'm specifically looking for the sushi one. Thanks a bunch
I found it on amazon.

ReplyDeleteHey guys, there is a great online facebook shop selling Popin Cookin kits Australia-wide, for those of us deprived souls in auzzie! I bought one sushi and one bento kit recently, prices were good and delivery was really fast! Got it in just two days. I’m in sydney.
